Just takes me to a blank page. Would love to get this to print out and bring to my sons appointment today if possible. They also have a smaller size that you can only get by calling, it's perfect for infants since they use it up very fast. 321 Mama ~ Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02635907355347047885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1989545445919628676.post-53912754748841403712013-05-01T19:58:35.955-04:002013-05-01T19:58:35.955-04:00Hi Andi, I am interested in your comparison of the...Hi Andi, I am interested in your comparison of the Nutrichem and Vitaspectrum (along with the amino acid). Last summer a Naturopath thought my son's iron was high, but his new holistic pediatrician thinks it is a bit low--so I'm not sure whether or not I would need to have that omitted. I would love to go with the most cost effective of these 2 vitamins, but I notice you mention potential ADHD improvement with the Nutrichem. My son doesn't really exhibit all the characteristics; he is a fairly typical free-spirited 6-yr-old boy, but he can be very impulsive (he is not on ginkgo), loves to play chase in public settings, and is often seen as "curious to a fault." On a budget, I am anxious to move forward with the possible good fit of a multi-vitamin. I also plan to add more Vitamin B. I appreciate the research you include on your blog. If you are interested in the data sheet, email me at drsejal@newdowns.com. I will be happy to send it to you.

Most of the children in my practice with and without DS who are low in iron. New Downs has less than the RDA of iron. I feel that iron is a very necessary nutrient for the early childhood. It is needed for growth, energy and cognition.

The amount of copper in New Downs is negligible compared to the amount of zinc. As you noted, copper is necessary for growth and cognition.

I'll look into carosine for the next generation of New Downs.

Keep up the good work. Jett is adorable!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06705018270487150790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1989545445919628676.post-88880119881679276492011-06-21T13:15:53.201-04:002011-06-21T13:15:53.201-04:00I called to get a sample of the MSB, but apparentl...I called to get a sample of the MSB, but apparently the Canadian Post Office is on strike, so I don't know how long I'll be waiting to get the samples. But it looks good and they are willing to develop customized formulas, which is awesome.

I though that the Vitaspectrum looks great - especially the amino acid one - although it doesn't mention anything about DS kids. It's been developed for Autism Spectrum Disorders. So I'm not sure how closely it addresses DS imbalances.

Also, FYI about the Vitaspectrum: they will not sell it to you without "authorization" from your doctor. You have to have your doctor call or go online and set up an account for you and they have to monitor your use of this vitamin complex.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14131398331710810315noreply@blogger.com
