Just click the "Therapy"...Hey Momma Jorje,
Just click the "Therapy" page on the top of the screen and you'll get a full explanation of neurodevelopmental therapy.
Jett dragged a leg when he crawled. It was fixed with chiropractic care and accupressure through a TCM.
Bear crawling does little for the brain... see my post on crawling to get more tips on getting him to crawl. Good luck!!Andi Durkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03651762223667606607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1989545445919628676.post-86451189082484486052013-06-07T22:45:03.404-04:002013-06-07T22:45:03.404-04:00Wow! (Though I'm sure I'll Google it in just a minute.)

My Spencer is 18mo this month. He bear crawled first and now crawls with one foot and one knee with the foot tucked under him. Its hard to describe. We see a PT only once per month. She is pushing a little for splints and I'm putting it off until later. Our Pediatrician supports us in this, as I want Spencer to learn to walk in his bare feet. He has never once worn a pair of shoes! He IS cruising a LOT and will walk with a push toy.

Sorry to ramble. We do see a Maximized Living chiropractor (he and I both) and love her! We haven't had any trouble with muscle tone, though he is hyper flexible with his legs... or something like that.Momma Jorjehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17736034293320117257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1989545445919628676.post-6699079548987078142013-01-25T14:09:04.694-05:002013-01-25T14:09:04.694-05:00Great post as usual. My son is part of the treated group, so add us to the poll. 4-pt crawling 7 1/2 months, sitting 10 months (yes, I know that is completely backwards - that's my son). Walking 19 months. But his balance at 25 months is still horrible and we have noticed that his right side is weaker than his left. Working on building up more tone.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14131398331710810315noreply@blogger.com
